Hey, thanks for your post. When I didn't get any replies to my thread, I went searching on the web for info. I didn't realize that the puppy coat would change so fast. Yes, Copper still has a lot of black coat, but if I cut it off, he will only have about a 1/4 inch of gray all over. I think I'll wait a little while and just keep daily fighting the tangles with combs and conditioner.
I guess I'd better take lots of pictures (not that I haven't already) since my little black puppy will be transforming!
