Anyway there is an awesome vet there named Dr. Stroud. She performed a miracle surgery when she saved my friend's Yorkie who was viciously attacked by a rottie. No one thought he had a chance of making it. I trust her to give me good info and I think I will ask her some questions. If I don't get good answers from her I will probably look for a new vet. |
Yes, the US is having a lepto problem right now. If it is needed in your case (one of those things I won't have an opinion on), then it can be given as a single instead of part of a combo. Lepto has to be given at least once yearly for protection and it does not protect against all strains.
I believe (besides standing water) that it is transferred by rodent urine
