I would suggest you get it looked at by a vet as soon as you can. I had a 4 week old puppy that had something similar and it was a mast cell tumor. He shrunk it with an injection of cortisone then surgically removed it. The problem was it was large enough that to get clean edges and still have enough skin to close the wound was tricky. There isn't a lot of extra skin on their legs and he was really little. That little man (Ozzy) is now 5 years old and never had any other problem.
I'll think positive thoughts for your little Fiona that it's not the same thing and something easily taken care of. |
