First of all, thank you for all the concerns for Sammie.
The vet spent a lot of time with him but could not pin point exactly what is wrong with him. The vet decided to address the issues at hand....vomiting and diarrhea. (The diarrhea started just as I was leaving for the emergency vet hospital)
He was slightly dehydrated so he was given fluid. He was given the following medication: an antibiotic, medicine for vomiting, medicine for diarrhea and medicine to help with his irritated intestines.
The vet wants him to stay on a very bland diet for a few days. I just made him chicken and rice...he ate about 1/2 cup.
