Regarding the calorie count on potato chips, you probably are thinking of the comparison between a dog eating a single potato chip vs a human. Our last vet had display cards in her office that demonstrated the concept. For instance, if a cat ate a potato chip every day, it would be the equivalent of a human consuming several cheeseburgers a day.
So far, my boys are maintaining their proper weights. For training, I use kibble and a little lamb roll taken from their scheduled meals. |
