BTW, diapers and panties will not keep a determined male from breeding a female in heat. The only way to safely prevent unwanted pregnancies is to get one or both neutered or keep them in a different room or a covered pen where there is no chance of them getting together. |
Oh, I forgot to mention. I have the emergency vet clinic just down the road. I have already called. I have done this before with my Shih-Tzu, who I purposely had bred. I also have all the supplies needed and somewhat have some medical background knowledge (although it is in humans). My friend who is a breeder and in school with me is also on call!
