Try using a regular band (no bow) or a mini scrunchie for awhile and see if she rubs her topknot. I use the terry cloth scrunchies on my boys. Then introduce the bow a little at a time and try to distract her while she is wearing it.

I use #1 All Systems topknot gel or PetSilk's. To keep growing hairs out of the eyes, I used dabs of Vaseline.
