I agree with Armani Man on all points. The teeth will probably cause more discomfort.

Max did not exhibit any personality changes after being neutered. Teddy was already neutered when he came home with me.

The hardest part is trying to keep the dog from being too active for a couple of weeks. They usually bounce back immediately, but you have to keep them from running and jumping. My vet told us to suspend daily walks for at least 10 days (ETA: long walks that is).

Also, you have to fight the urge to give him a bath for about 2 weeks.
