Kaji was neutered a few days after his first birthday, but that was because I got him on his first birthday. If I had raised him from 12 weeks old, I would have waited until 8-10 months old, in hopes that all his baby teeth would fall out. That way, you put the puppy under only once and he is neutered, retained teeth pulled out, and microchipped. Don't forget to get blood work done before the neuter to make sure your baby is in tip top shape to handle the anesthesia.
