I think she owes you something, but if you didn't have anything in writing, you probably don't have much of a chance at getting anything. I would say ask her about it (because she may feel guilty and give it to you anyway) and if she refuses, there's not much you can do. Take it as a lesson learned, and always get stuff documented!!
