Even sadder than this mass euthansia is the fact that there are dogs and cats being killed in this country in staggering numbers
We get upset for sure hearing about this when it didn't have to happen - but it isn't anything new - our country puts hundreds maybe even thousands of healthy dogs/cats to sleep every single day
Our shelters are full and always have been and in this day and age - the numbers should be less - but they aren't. We now have media touting ADOPT shelter pets and rescue but the problem is just too big and until people wake up it will continue.
I'd love to see a cap on all the mass breeding going on - which I don't see happening anytime soon
may all those poor pets rest in peace......that's truly sad.
