Hey guys
I'm in overprotective new-mom mode. Kasha got her last round of puppy shots today (a little late) She got DHLPP & Rabies, one on each shoulder area. She was fine during the shots but SCREAMED bloody murder for about 5 mins after. She's eaten since we've been home & is resting but can't seem to find a comfy place. She cries every few minutes as she readjusts herself. The vet (wont go back btw) said nothing about this level of discomfort only that she might be sleepy. She's not a complainer either, she will take a nip from a larger pup & keep playing or jump off the bed and walk it off. So I'm worried that she's still crying.
It breaks my heart to hear her cry when she moves. Please tell me it's normal/I'm an overprotective mom. Also any home remedies for the pain/anxiety?
