Uh how bad does that suck.

From my understanding tho ringworm isn't just a one treatment and done kind of thing. With that amount of animals i can understand the problem with curbing the spread. Treatments can take several months and doses and in that time frame they cant take on any other animals. Im pretty sure it can be passed thru rubber mats and unless concrete is treated with some form of a bleach treatment it can spread even thru that.

lets hope that there protocols are followed more strictly from this point on. So that something like this NEVER has to happen again. From the article it wasn't clear if it was careless ness or lack of training that caused the oversite.

I do have to agree with the part in the article I do hope they thought out every option before this choice was chosen.

Im sure the employees at the center had an even harder day then most would think. So while I'll say a prayer for all these animals lives I will also say a prayer that the emotional toll doesn't waver there faith in trying to save animals in the future.
