I'm glad you posted, I think people need to be aware that blood is a serious sign, and just because your dog isn't screaming in agony, it doesn't mean that they are not in serious pain. Dogs hide their pain because an animal in the wilderness, who displays any vulnerability, is attacked by predators. You really need to insist this vet do more tests, or find a new vet who will listen to you. You are Charlie's main advocate, and the vet probably thought this was a simple infection, but it's clear that it's not a "simple" infection, and it could be stones.
