I just have a silly question, my landlady told me not to have my yorkies eye hair trimmed because she said her sister's vet told her sister not to trim the hair away from their eyes because the dogs have sensitive eyes and need the hair to protect it. I'm not one to doubt a professional or anything, but this was the first time I heard that. I was wondering if that was just for maybe her specific dog had some kind of eye issue, or if others have heard this before and there is something to it? Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I'm no vet, and I'm no groomer so I thought some of you more experienced Yorkie owners would have some inputs of value for me. Thanks!
