Good post!!
One thing that is pretty funny about the above statement! I have a girl who is daddy's baby all the way. She is very active and sometimes does pull a muscle....usually a front leg. She limps sometimes for a short while! Well after a few days.....sympathy will alert her to her past injury....and she will immediately start limping.....hobbling on three legs holding up that front leg.....only problem is she is favoring the WRONG leg.....She holds her good leg up and hobbles around....we laugh and she hobbles some more. She eventually forgets....but it's pretty funny. but yes sympathy and/or sad voices does seem to affect them.
I know this isn't much help.....just something to think about....but probably not very likely.
