FC stands for finishing cut. Those are the blades you want to get. the blades without the FC after them are usually skip tooth blades. they don't leave a smooth finish and if you aren't used to using them its easy to cut the dog with them. the teeth are skipped (one long, one short, long, short, etc) and you can catch the skin in the gap between the long teeth.
