I have yet to experience the joy of owning a Yorkie, but have been looking for months. It's really hard finding a breeder in Colorado. Anyways, is it common to buy a Yorkie for so much money and for them not to make it? I really don't want that kind of broken heart.
Thank you for your kind words about those of us who have lost a loved Yorkie. In regards to your question, I don't think the price that one pays for a Yorkie really is anymore of a "long life" guarantee then those Yorkie's paid for at a less amount of money. There are so many differant factors that take into play with the reasons for a loss of a Yorkie and I feel money has nothing to do with it.

I hope with time and research you find a reputable/honest breeder to give you a Yorkie to love for many many years.
