I used to worry all the time about posting pictures of my babies because they do not have ears that stand up. I didn't tape Guinness' ears because I didn't know how to and I really thought it would magically go up. Silly but the vet and the groomer always did a great job and keep the hair cut in a way that vented his ears.
(Guinness now lives with my best friend Shea as he needed a home with other dogs that like to play rough and no cats! and he's got a GREAT life and I miss him but I'm so happy he's happy and I hear about him ALL the time)
When I picked up Zoe, she was 8 months old and was given to me, because her owners didn't want her anymore. They breed Yorkies and for some reason she was left over. She is a BEAUTIFUL little girl and so friendly and a definite mommy's girl. Doesn't like to play rough, likes to cuddle instead and her ears were never taped either. I clean her ears regularly and when she's itchy I take notice and give her an ear wash (with cotton ball). She's got healthy ears. But she does look differently without the ears standing up and people ask if she's really a Yorkie.
So, for those of you who have floppy eared Yorkies, we should post picture so of them so others know our Yorkies when they see them? RIGHT?
