Some breeders seem to think, "If nature allows us to do it, it must be safe." There are many breeds that are in big trouble because their breed clubs have changed the standard due to popular demands, and public whims. Human beings tend to like animals that look like human babies, and it's not weird that we like these things, but we should not support breeders who are just marketing pets as accessories. We should only support breeders who are breeding to improve the breed, not just trying to make the breed prettier, cuter, or more trendy.
