5/9/10 - 9:00 PM ET - Today the doctor decided it might be best for Roriee to be in a home environment instead of a clinical environment, so we went and picked her up. This evening we took her outside to try and let her go potty, since that was what they were doing at the vet, and she was actually able to walk around a little bit. She wasn't completely steady, but she wasn't falling over on her side each time she got up like the night we picked her up. It was so exciting to see her move around without falling and without screaming! She didn't scream once while she was moving around and actually came to me when I knelt down a few feet from her. This was one small step forward and we sure hope these are signs of good things to come! Thank you everyone for your continued support and prayers for Roriee, she has so many things against her medically that she can use all the prayers she can get! |
