As I was doing research on my new puppy, I found this site. I would really like to know what to do or get any helpful advice. I've had my little girl for about 4 weeks. I purchased her at 10 weeks old, apprx 8 ounces. We found out after two weeks that she had giardia (high count) and coccidia because my 16 month-old, 3.2 lb yorkie got very sick. She got it from the baby. Well, that's not all. A couple of days ago we found out she has ringworm also. She has it all over her little body and glowed in the vet's office under the

She has given my husband and myself ringworm and now my 12 year old pek is sick from giardia also. The poor baby yorkie has to be quarantined for at least two months and could possible be a carrier to both. She has grown to 1.7 lbs at 3.5 months and we love her to death and don't want to give her back, but are afraid this will continue and she could possible be a carrier. Should we give her back because she could possibly infect people and pets again? Somebody please give us some helpful advice.
