Default rabbit poo

My vet says a lot of rabbit poo will not hurt the puppies, good protein ... eating a rabbit though is not good. My dog trainer recommended I give Jonah something he liked to carry (his ball) when we went for walks to keep him from eating junk. It was a miraculous solution at first, but he soon figured out he could drop the ball, when he saw some morsel of whatever on the ground, and pick up the ball after he enjoyed the contraband. I f I pick up the ball as soon as he drops it, he is distracted long enough to miss whatever is on the ground.
So, it is a good tool to use in addition to "leave it " command. Jonah has learned to get my reward treat for "leaving it" and if the situation is just right he can still manage to pick up whatever was on the ground after he consumes the treat! Aren't Yorkies fun!
