In reference to weight the Yorkshire Terrier Club of American standard just says:

Weight

Must not exceed seven pounds.

So actually any yorkie under 7 lbs is within the standard. There is no minimum weight requirement but many people have the mindset of referring to yorkies that are 5 to 7 lbs as standard size yorkies and yorkies under 5 lbs as 'teacups' but as most of us know this is incorrect.
