Yes, we take some out and thaw in a tupperware type container.
I usually put 4-5 in with Wrigley's food. They are long & skinny. She eats the green beans first & then goes back for the kibble! I think some do feed frozen, just rinsed off. I'm sure everyone varies on the amount too.
I think I read if you feed fresh, they need to be cooked first. Something about the wax residue on them, but we just buy the frozen!
