Is he able to move his legs currently? If he has continued numbness or tingling you may want to look into a specialist. B/c 9 times out of 10 that numbness or tingling is due to pressure on a nerve. |
He has pain/burning sensation down his left leg. The doctor (GP) thinks it's inflammed muscles causing them to pinch the sciatic (sp?) nerve. However after a week on muscle relaxers/pain meds things should've been better. The MRI should show exactly what the cause is, whether spinal or muscular. Hopefully after that we'll know which route to go....physical therapy, massage therapy or chiropractic and GOD FORBID surgery. I was hoping it'd all work itself out by now but so far, no luck.
