So many people assume show breeders will be too expensive when actually they can be less expensive than many pet stores and backyard breeders.
If she wants a puppy who will grow up to look like like a Maltese is supposed to look, she needs to get one from a reputable breeder. "Bargain" puppies tend to grow up to be pretty far from the standard. Many poorly bred Maltese have Bichon mixed in their background and they end up weighing in the teens and have curly coats.

Wow, you've been VERY helpful. And honestly you're right. My first thought was YIKES she'll be paying 1000 dollars for a puppy here :O She has no prices listed but does state she has two show dogs that are expected this month
