our pup actually prefers his crate. if we leave him out, even confined to a small space like an x-pen, he gets real nervous, poops and pees everywhere. we give him a treat everytime he goes in the crate and he always go in on his own. by the way, he used to bark and chew on his crate too. it took lots of treats and patience. oh yea and we bought him a kong bone with holes on each end for treats, this helps keeps him quiet for a really long time... |
