I agree with ArmaniMan's advice.
My boys are pad trained and will use the pad in hotel rooms. Make sure Allie knows where the pad is and that she has easy access to it all times.
In addition to flea and tick preventatives, another consideration is vaccinations. My boys get the minimum required, so our vet advised me not to allow them to roam on foot in rural/wooded areas where there is farm or wild animal waste.
