Default being around other "outside" animals with fleas?

We are going to visit my in-laws and they have a neuterted jack Russell & and a cat. They live in the country and the animals are kept outside. They also have goats. We have not gone for a visit since I brought Allie home in October. They keep asking when are we coming and my boys love it there. My main concern is fleas. Allie is treated monthly with flea/Heartworm meds, but I know the other animals are not and do have fleas. I'm hesitant to go because of Allie. I do not want her to get fleas. Other than holding her all day, and keeping her away from them...she will have to go potty?? Would fleas be in the grass waiting to jump on her, or only if she gets close to the dog & cat? Or will the meds keep them away?
I'm sure it sounds silly to the inlaws but I bathe her regularly & take pride in taking really good care of her.
Also she is pee pad trained at my house. Do they know to go on the pad when you take them to other peoples homes? I have baby gates that restrict her access to carpet areas and she always pees/poops where she is supposed to. I do not keep her in a crate or expen I have both, ( chose not to use them ) she sleeps at night on the sofa with her blanket. I have carpet in my room other wise she would be sleeping with me. Where we lived before she slept with me but would get down In the middle of the night and pee/poop on the carpet instead of her pad in the adjacent family room. We live in a rental home so she cannot do that.
Sorry for the long post any tips/suggestions would be great! Thanks
