I think we read the same thread. I however opted to try a "clean" dry puppy food instead of home cooking. Home cooking just isn't realistic for me but I commend those that can.
I switched to Halo chicken flavor for puppies and give her meat treats for training. I know the meat content is pretty low (according to this forum) so I just wanted to be sure she got enough
I bought mine at our local Petco and it's one of the more affordable in comparison to Blue Buffalo or Wellness. Good luck
