Good post. I completely agree.
It angers me so that we are living in such a disposable society. Unless one has experienced the unconditional love of a pet they really just cannot understand. Theses little bundles of fur are as much members of our families than our 'skin' children are.
Be strong and ignore unsolicited advice.
