Steve, that post about your visit really brings back memories. Last year, I had a little guy that had to have a leg amputated and I took him to the best clinic in the area. It was a 70 mile drive but I went every day to visit until they let me bring him home (he was there 2 days following surgery). It was so hard to see him in the shape he was in and he seemed so sad. Somehow I made a happy visit of it but boy, I sure was glad to get him home! Things will be so much better for you, your wife and Carlo once he's home. Wishing nothing but the best for all of you.
