Hang in there! We had Grade 4 LP and Daisy had surgery at around 9 mos old. She was completely lame and we had no choice. She went in for surgery and came out with a shaved leg and before we knew it, she was up and around in no time. It's been a long time but I do not recall any major pain, she really did so well. We went to a board certified surgeon with a speciality in orthopedics who did many, many of these surgeries.
Daisy is now a very happy 10 year old girl - just look at her here - You should see her run too.
