Lucy was spayed after her first heat when all her milk had dried up, so she was about 9-10 months old. As far as I am aware of all of the female yorkies in my area (and there are a lot!
) this is a similar story.
As for the breast cancer, I have no idea, I'll ask some of the other owners when I see them if no one knows on here! (which I expect they do!)
