I have been using Luv My Pet and after the vet does the puppy shot series, I have the full scale of vaccinations done at 1 year and then again at 2 years. At 2 years, my yorkies get the 3 year rabies instead of the 1 year. I have experienced slight problems with 2 dogs and thought I was doing what was best for my yorkies. Now... I am not sure that I know what to do. It sounds as though I should only vaccinate when the circumstances require it after the 2 years boosters and give the rabies as mandated by law. My poor babies had all of their vaccines from 1 year on at 2 sessions. I had no idea I was putting them at risk. They are all on heartguard and comfortis. Are these meds acceptable for good health in yorkies? I love my little ones just as all you do but we are out there in the dark with vets and other like interest telling us our babies must have all of this. Why is CDC and Fed. AG not representing us accurately and watching out for the "best health" options and making more vaccinations subject to very specific situations. We need to be able to trust the governing and gathering of statistical information and the mandates that come from them. What is the best recommendation for our little yorkies according to this forum? These babies are mostly under 7 lbs.; don't the veterinarians care about these little guys and what they are doing in the name of "Greed"? Mary of Yorkies in Common
