My vet's prices are actually the same or slightly lower than the on-line prices. I once asked him about getting meds on-line and he said he would charge me $10 for the prescription to send the company. So after that, his prices would definitely be better. I think he does that to discourage buying meds on-line that could possibly be counterfeit.
