Megan thank you so much for sharing that poem. It made me cry and feel better at the same time. In August I had to put my 12 yr. old Tori (little silky x girl) down and that's exactly the way it was. She was diagnosed suddenly with cancer and went down hill very quickly. I know it was the best thing for her but it just about killed me to let her go. I did stay with her to the end and she went to sleep peacefully in my arms. It still hurts though. Thank you again, that poem makes you think about the right and good thing, not just the sadness.
