Suiki is very shy and timid, and if they couldn't groom her which they have done several times before they should have called me. Don't you think? She is actually bald in some places. Needless to say I didn't pay for the hair cut. I'll never go back there again, and when I find a new groomer I will explain what happened, and ask if I can stay with her while she's groomed. |
They cut her to the bone ? That isn't a 'nick' - wow
I'd be upset too - if they couldn't handle her they should have asked you to pick her up . There are mobile groomers you can try and other groomers that may be much more gentle. What I did when I first got my Chanel was just pop into places to 'see' how the dogs were treated -- then after visiting several places - I would go back and ask more questions. I did find ONE but have since moved so no longer have a good groomer anymore. (well I found one near my place but they use those heaters)
fyi - never go to one who uses drying heaters in a cage !! Ask for blow dries with a hair dryer - those heaters are death traps.
I had a bad experience with a groomer years ago and now groom myself
