Great job!! You basically have put her in a foster home situation.. I see nothing wrong with that. And if the owner is not found she can stay in the home she is at now.
What is interesting to me is how nobody has question the owner.. I mean if I lost my dog i would put up flier's everywhere, and in a small town that would be so easy to do. Why hasn't the owner of this dog put an ad in the paper, and called the vets?
SOunds like an irresponsible owner to me.. You didn't have to take that dog in, I think what you have done should be commended, not condemned.
