Are we going to get technical here? Ohio "became" a state in 1803 but it wasn't done properly so Ike declared it a state in 1953 - TECHNICALLY didn't become a state until 1953, LOL. But, if we go by 1803, then Missouri became a state after Ohio (MO in 1821).
