Rhett's doing better, finally. Still coughing when he gets over excited, but not nearly as hard as this time last week. His energy level is back to pre-illness!
The night I posted this was scary. He was just breathing so shallow and so fast. I ended up moving his crate in to the bathroom and setting up the vaporizer in there, that helped him immensely. I slept on the floor beside his crate. The next day when he wasn't eating or out to go potty, I kept him crated with the vaporizer again, just to help loosen everything up.
He has another week of antibiotics, but the vet was pleased with his progress at his recheck today.
