Unfortunately nothing I did made a difference and they are still selling these without a warning that they can be dangerous for small dogs.

Wow I think that there should be warnings bc you think if they are natural that they are ok for them. I never though in my wildest dreams that she could choke on it. I never give her treats when I am not there so I was in the room with her when it happend.
I can't imagine if someone gave there dog a treat before they left.
I always give her a cheerio as a going away treat.
