I got Toffee spayed after her first heat, and since that was over 16 years ago - I don't remember anymore. I had no male in the house (just 2 female chow chows!), so I wasn't concerned about pregnancies! Anyway, Mr. Darcy is not neutered, and Lizzie is 5 months old, so my question to 'those in the know' is 'when do Yorkies generally come into their first heat? and what do you call those pantie things the females wear? and do they work? and will it be 'safe' leaving them alone together while I am at work? Lots of questions!!!!!
