I don't know where he would get kennel cough, unless it was from Lexi, my last boarder a few weeks ago...However, her mom said Petco had talked her into giving her a kennel cough shot about 3 weeks, before, and she admitted Lexi had been coughing on and off and asked me if it would go away...I wonder if a pup can "give" kennel cough, just from getting the shot? Man, I hope not...And the thing about it is, I told Lexi's mom not to give her the kennel cough shot, because it wasn't necessary...A groomer, I know, takes her papillions (3) to work w/her, and doesn't give them the shot...She says the shot is more dangerous, than treating the cough, if they were to get one...And, she says in the 3 years she's been working at this place, her pups have never gotten kennel cough...Btw, they eat raw.... |
