We live in a rural area surrounded by woods all the way around us. Granted my outdoor dog does a great job at keeping animals off of our lawn but it only takes a second. So we leash potty at night.

I have herd that hair cutting repels animals. Maybe you could call your stylist and tell her you want to put it around some flowers to keep animals away, then sprinkle a good amount on the outside boundaries of your fence line? I think a barber shop would actually be better since it would be shorter hair.
The problem with the leash pottying is she has a doggy door so she is used to going out when she wants so when I close the the doggy door she sits infront of it and will cry for what seems like forever. I have never heard of the hair cutting thats kinda neat to know.
