My Bridget was spayed last Thursday and I can so relate to how nervous you are. She is 5 lbs, but that certainly didn't make me feel any better. Everyone here had such kind and positive things to say it really helped me get through the morning. I was so worried she would wake up and not know where she was or that I've abandoned her that I did take in an old sweater of mine that she likes to lay on. It has my scent and is familiar to her and asked that they put it in with her after surgery. I don't know if they did or not - but it make me feel better. After the surgery the hard part for me was keeping her calm!!!
Your baby will do fine - if all the thoughts and prayers that come from all the YT members here help (and I believe they do) - she'll be up and back to herself in no time. Your the one that's going to need something to help relax you....a nice glass of wine may help!!! |
