I wanted to add that not only is paypal safe, but so are contributions to reputable 501(c)(3) organizations. You can publicly view the financials of any nonprofit organization. Donations to private people are not secure, not tax deductible, and do not insure that the donations are utilized for all costs. There are more costs involved with this case than just vet bills. Someone's transporting Roriee, feeding her, etc. so your donations are being used for all the involved costs.
