A bit of warm water in an eyedropper maybe a 1/4 cc....may help stimulate the bowels. But, a better way is using an eyedropper filled with pure glycerine (whole foods), insert in pup's rectum and release a couple of drops (one-quarter cc). Massage anal area. A puppy that is constipated if not taken care of will die. If any of the above doesn't induce a bowel movement....get him to ER.

No milk. Change his formula to canned goats milk with equal parts of distilled water. Fill a syringe add a puppy nipple and gently push a small amount of milk into the nipple and let him suck. Start with 2 cc every 2 hours....increase quantity as he's able to take more. If mother is unwilling to nurse him, you are doing more damage than good by attempting to force the issue.
