Rolo was 2 yrs on December 31st. We got him when he was six weeks old (February 17th) and he had his first round of sore throat/ears in June. He had all his shots on time; I don't know when you give kennel cough, but he got his whenever he was supposed to get the shot. He is allergic to corn, flaxseed oil, fish oil, pollen, dust, leaf mold, yeast mold, and kapok. Extremes in temperature, going to the groomers and stress also trigger episodes. My vet swears he can also pick up germs from sick people as well although I am not sure about that; I thought germs didn't transfer from people to dogs. |
